If you use the new Internet Explorer 7 browser, you probably need to change the Internet settings of the browser in order to be able to export data from SOTKAnet to Excel. If you cannot export data, change the settings as follows:
1. Click on the Tools menu, then Internet Options and go to the Privacy tab.
2. Untick "Block pop-ups". Alternatively you can click Settings and enable pop-up windows for the address uusi.sotkanet.fi.
3. Click the Security tab. Make sure that the "Internet" option is highlighted and click the Custom Level button at the bottom.
4. Click Downloads in the Settings menu (about midway down the list). Under the Automatic prompting for file downloads subheading, click Enable.
5. Instead of items 3 and 4 above, you can add the address uusi.sotkanet.fi to your trusted sites. Click the Security tab, and then click the Trusted sites icon. Click the Sites button. In the text box, type the address uusi.sotkanet.fi and then click Add. Untick Require server verification (https:) and close by clicking OK.
6. Click OK.
