Data content

The indicator gives the recipients of discretionary psychotherapy during the year per thousand persons of the same age. Persons aged 16 and over can have access to psychotherapy through the Social Insurance Institution. Psychotherapy for children under 16 is provided by public health authorities. The Social Insurance Institution provides discretionary psychotherapeutic services as psychotherapy for adults and as psychotherapy for children (ages 16-25).
