Institute for Health and Welfare (THL): Health Behaviour and Health among the Finnish Adult Population (AVTK)
The indicator describes, as a percentage of the total population of the same age, those aged 20–34 who have answered "yes" to the following question: 'Do you suffer from a disease or disability that lessens your work capacity or functioning?'
In the interpretation of the indicator, it should be taken into account that the indicator is based on self-reported data.

For the study, a random sample of 5000 Finnish nationals aged 15–64 was drawn from the Population Information System each year. The study is a mail survey with an average response rate of 70 per cent between 1990 and 2007. The indicator includes data on those aged 20–34.
