Data content

The Nordic alcohol statistics are produced annually in cooperation between the Nordic statistic authorities. The statistics represent standardised data on alcohol sales, consumption, distribution, prices and some alcohol-related harms.

The consumption figures (documented alcoholic beverage consumption and sale) published in the statistics give a realistic picture of consumption trends in different Nordic countries although the undocumented consumption is not included in the figures.
